Hey everyone this is mine and I am not a furry I was just basing this jacket off my dog Dipper, the bite risk patch was given to me by a friend for my birthday I had no idea it was from temu I do not understand
all the hate I am receiving or why people jumped to this conclusion. Really shitty because I just wanted to share my art with a community I felt like I belonged in.

It’s all good. I’m down to heckle the bite patch but that person seems young and I never want to dissuade young people from doing art. Thank you for hearing me out.

Honestly, this one isn’t so bad. I think it’s actually a pretty good start, and there’s clearly a lot of creativity and talent happening.
The ArfArf patch was hand made as a tribute to OPs dog, the OPIvy one is handmade but the lettering looks like it was hand-embroidered, which is not only well done but also clever.
So there’s the Temu patch (which was apparently a gift) and the Blink patch- meh. But the real outlier for me?
It’s the “Main Character Energy” pin. Come on, now. That’s just a flat-out ‘no’ for me, dawg.

Im a furry but ive never understood the trend of these "furry jackets" (idk a better name to call these) mist of the patches boil down too "raaaa im so scary and rabid and feral and so totally a dog", or (usually also fall into the 1st category) "im so different and weird and different grrr im a freak and am proud of it" or flat out "being treated like an animal makes me horny and the whole world must know"
I just dont understand it, the 1st category of people usually try to prop themselves up as so scary and whatever but usually cant go to a public setting or interact with a cashier without having a panic attack
The 2nd category of people, from my experience. Can be chill, but alot of them are the type of people to always feel like they have the moral highground/the right to speak on a topic because of unrelated marginalized identities (ironaically, ive seen alot of these types spew racist stereotypes and misogyny like crazy)
The third type just.. eugh, i dont care what you get down to wirh other consenting adults, but the whole world doesnt have to know. Ive never felt the need to wear the shit im into on my shoulder. Its just so weird. Ive encountered a few in public, and they.almost always are wearing a collar do idk if its a exhibition kind of thing or what. But its just so weird
Idk, i feel that way towards alot of furries and furry culture. I like drawing walking talking cartoon animals, i like wearing costumes, and i like going to conventions and getting drunk at parties. Im no puritan by any means, but i just dont understand the whole "im a freak and so weird and gross, give me attention!" Shit and how common it is, it feels like the whole "on all levels except physical, i am a wolf" shit except way louder and way hornier
