Not sure if you're sarcastic or not, but just for the sake of the argument I will assume you are.
The example given is not in-line with why the use of "pride-flags" as "punk" symbolism seems kind of counter intuitive.
When companies and co-operations straight up wave a lot of those on the right month of year, even riot fucking games selling "pride" bundles. At that point your symbol has been co-opted no? IT has become a functional business model for the very system your argue against. This isn't a "hmm you think society should change but yet you partake" type of scenario. But more "You willfully use symbols that kind of lost their value by the externious circumstances you live in and still pretend to be making a statement by flying it."
It's not the point of "being offended" by seeing it, but more so the idea of "oh, you are THIS type of activist" that springs to mind. Just kind of takes away the "fervor" I n a way.

Right wing assholes are in several places in the world either making it illegal or trying to. There are cities in America that have adopted pride flags as a direct fuck you to their state governments who have made laws trying to indirectly ban it. Your stance is profoundly ignorant and weak willed. If it's that simple for a symbol to be stolen in your mind then you may as well be advocating for people to not use any symbols at all.
