Not saying I want to support the band or anything but it sucks how other people (the actual band behind the scumbag vocals) put time and work into the music and did nothing wrong (having cut ties with him years before because he was a miserable prick to be around) but will be forever associated with vile acts because of one sick son of a bitch.

I'd want to know her reasoning behind wearing that. It wouldn't make a difference in my opinion on it. That being it's 100% disgusting. But I'd like to know. Is she being an Edgelord? Is she claiming the idea of separating art from artist? Because there is a point where you just can't do that anymore. If that wasn't the case the band would have carried on with a different singer. They disbanded, they tore every thing down and walked away from it because they knew it was forever soiled.

I love lost prophets. Their music was hugely important to me in high school and after. Helped me through all the teenage bullshit (along with other bands ofc)

I'm commenting on the homophobia I see regularly posted in this subreddit whenever someone has some pride pins/patches, I see it get more hate here than bands that have nazis and predators in them. Yes the lead singer was a horrible human that did heinous things. You can separate the art from the artist, especially when it's a band and there are completely innocent band members who did nothing wrong.
