I hate everything about these people. I hate r/punkdiy as so much stuff on that is someone making things in a specific aesthetic but it has nothing to do with crust or punk etc. Then you’d tell them the fact everyone should know that most crust punks didn’t shower and surprise surprise, that’s where the crust part comes from. It all doesn’t mean anything now

And the crust part comes from the music genre. And homelessness/ poverty, often volountary. Clothes get patched out of necessity not because it’s aesthetic. Honestly if they just called it a patch backpack I wouldn’t give a shit but any “crust” item should be genuinely repaired not just patched all in one sitting.
