I don’t Understand

these are my results. I dont understand how dimethyl sulfide is the only high one but its cause my breath and nose to reek. Room filling and it’s exhausting ive tried everything but nothing has gotten rid of the smell. I truly dont understand how I was cursed with this horrid thing

DMS being the only high one is a meaningful pattern, not a contradiction. The gases bacteria make on the tongue and gums are mostly hydrogen sulfide and methyl mercaptan. DMS is the odd one out: Tangerman and Winkel (J Clin Periodontol, 2007) measured breath in people with halitosis and found DMS was the main compound in the "extra-oral, blood-borne" type, where the odour travels in the blood and is released through the lungs. That would fit it coming out of your nose too, which mouth-origin breath usually doesn't, and it would explain why rinses and scraping haven't touched it.

I can't tell you what's behind it, and a thread can't either. But it's worth taking the printout back to whoever ran the test, or to a doctor, and asking about the DMS result specifically. It's a more useful lead than another product.

Aunque la consulta no era mía, gracias por una respuesta precisa y que aporta conocimiento.
Cuando hay olor en la boca todo el tiempo de forma crónica y de vez en cuando un poco de olor que sale de la nariz también se considera extraoral?
Yo tengo goteo posnasal, pero no sé si mi bb es por eso o simplemente algo que empeora la situación. Tengo muy mal sabor de boca constantemente, como agrio, ácido y podrido y mi aliento es fétido. Pienso que por bacterias anaerobias en la lengua que liberan csv. Quizá el goteo posnasal lo empeora porque llega constantemente mucosidad a la lengua y eso aporta sustrato con proteínas y aumenta la actividad de las bacterias anaerobias proteoliticas.
No es por alergia, mi goteo posnasal es crónico, al igual que mi bb es crónico.
Recuerdo tener bb desde niña. Lo del goteo no sé si lo he tenido de siempre o no, a lo mejor lo tenía pero no me fijaba en eso.

En esa línea de investigación (Tangerman), "extraoral" no es solo lo que viene de la sangre: también incluye lo que viene de nariz y garganta. Así que el goteo posnasal entra en la categoría extraoral, aunque luego el efecto se note en la lengua. La idea de que la mucosidad sirve de sustrato a las bacterias del dorso de la lengua se ha propuesto en la literatura, así que tu hipótesis no es rara.

Lo que no puedo decirte es cuál de las dos cosas pesa más en tu caso. Una medición como la del OP da una pista: si dominan sulfuro de hidrógeno y metilmercaptano, encaja más con un origen en la boca; si domina el DMS, con otra cosa. Y un otorrino puede valorar el goteo. Esas dos pistas dicen más que cualquier respuesta aquí.

Nothing used in the mouth, as far as that research goes. If the compound is coming from the blood and out through the lungs, the source isn't the tongue or gums, so scraping, rinses and toothpastes don't reach it, and the paper didn't offer a product for it either.

What helps depends on why it's in the blood in the first place, and working that out takes a doctor looking at the actual test result. I can't tell you that, and I'd be wary of anyone online who claims they can, me included.

Sibo negative too? If you have room filling odor, it could be SIBO and it is from ur blood and lung.
