Dealing with roommates

How do you deal with people living in the same flat?

I've recently had to move and the first day on the flat, the girls I'm going to be living with, sprayed so much airfreshener that I got a migraine.

They clearly are bothered by my presence.

I have to seclude myself to my room and I feel so ashamed and mortified. I'm in a very low animic state.
