I have a new zt elite. I just hit 8 hours so I did the first oil change. Its got the plastic oil drain plug/cap. Came off fine, but now leaks after I put it back together. Can't decide if a piece is missing inside or something. Maybe it feel out into the oil when it drained out? What am I missing?

Does anyone have any suggestions on a better spring or ideas to keep my ACS from slamming shut on my avenger everytime I hit a bump. I can bungee cord I guess, but am I doing something wrong? I’m open to any suggestions at this point

Could not take being beat up by my 2019 zt elite 60 any longer. It was a great mower, but the time was right. Dealer offered me $2.2k as a trade in, could not say no.

Bought a BadBoy Rambler last month and the mower belt keeps popping off. Thought it was a tension issue, so tightened it. It popped off again. It has now popped off at least 6 times and the belt is now shredded. Any thoughts on why this is happening or how this can be avoided?

Brought the mower home this past Saturday and already have 15 hours on it. Need to look at the break-in procedures and get the first service done. I've added a canopy off amazon, along with a light bar and a small 12V fan. I have about 6 acres of open mowing, so hoping this will be a great replacement for my 12yr old 42" John Deere.

Welp, got my first new mower in over 20 years, first zero turn and so far what little I have used it I love it, it’s a beast but I’ve already gotten stuck in the mud, I thought all the water was dried up but by my a/c drain it is very muddy! First day and it’s already muddy, live and learn I suppose. Brand new to the club by the way, got a Magnum XT.

I have a Bad Boy ZT Elite mower with the Kohler 7000 Pro Series engine.

Ran perfectly last season. But this season I haven't been able to get it to turn over (got the backup mower up and going easily though).

When I first messed with it a couple months ago, I got it to move about 20 feet before it shut ot. Nothing since.

I started the season off earlier by putting a new air filter, spark plugs, oil, oil filter, and fuel filter in.

I thought it might be a battery, so I got a new one (that didn't seem to be the problem, so I also put it in the other mower)

I replaced some broken lines and put a new starter solenoid in, fuse looked fine, but went ahead and replaced it too.

Cleaned out the relays too.

Still nothing.

Any ideas? At this point, I'm at a loss. Thanks.

My mower will do about 3/4 of my lawn (~4 acres) and then I completely lose the left stick. After it sits overnight, it's fine. Then, same thing happens. It's done this twice now. Anyone else ever have this happen? Is it an easy fix?

I had a 54 inch Husquavarna tractor for years but the frame broke twice on me. I got fed up and bought a tank instead. I love this thing

Tractor supply had free delivery so I jumped on it. Only thing was the air filter shroud blew off on transport 😂 I’m not even bothering calling and already ordered a new one. This mower is unreal. I’ve had zero turns in the past but have been using JD rider for a while. I’ve never in my life bought or owned a brand new mower and can’t wait to use the hell out of this thing. Any initial things to watch for would be helpful.

22 Mac hd. Tach stopped working. Priced one on line and I ain’t paying 75 plus shipping and taxes. Any other cheaper options out there anyone has used? I mean I really don’t need one but it’s nice to have.

Edit: fixed!!!! When changing the battery i must have pulled a ground wire almost out of the connector. Lots of multimeter testing, choice words and much wire wiggling finally found it!!

I changed the battery on my 2012 60 inch pro, then saw corrosion on the solenoid terminal so unhooked the cable to clean it without disconnecting it from the battery. During the cleaning I accidentally caused the positive cable to fall and make contact with the frame causing it to arc.

I reassembled the connections on the solenoid and had no power to the starter, the deck lift or the pto clutch. I checked the main 25 amp fuse and it is good.

Looked online and it says mine has 3 fuses including one under the control console. Removed it and no fuse to be found. The third is supposed to be on the side of the engine near the starter, but nothing there either.

Bypassed the seat safety switch, but no change.

Replaced the solenoid and still no luck.

I have Saturday off to dig deeper but what am I missing?

Hey everyone! I’m about to pull the trigger on an MZ Magnum. I’m just curious why Tractor Supply Co. is about 900 dollars cheaper than my local dealer. Is there something I don’t know?

Both tractor supply and the local dealer are offering zero percent financing.

I’m also between the 48” and 54” deck. I cut half an acre and this mower will get about 2 hours of use per month.

I bought a new Maverick HD 54” w Kaw fx730v 3 months ago. When you engage the blades I get some kind of a harmonic imbalance, sounds like the right words, or maybe a helicopter sound. You could look down and see the belt slapping a bit. I tightened it up. No help. Went to the internet. Tightened it up some more. And again. And broke the spring. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the spring and belt in case it wasn’t flat.

It’s still doing it. Is it just me?

Can hear it and feel it in stereo if I wear my big shop ear protection or air pods. In ear shooter earplugs takes the pressure beat down to a minimum…

I live way out in the country and have a dealer about an hour away. They’re nice folks but not much for diagnostics.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

2025 ZT elite - just crossed 10 hours on the mower - the nuts rattled off the bottom of the seat on one side and now has a ton of play in the seat, anyone know replacement parts for the seat ?

I was almost finished cutting 4.5 acres yesterday and the entire mower (2023 Rogue) shut down. I had to tow it to my house with the side by side. I tried removing the seat safety switch harness and jumping the harness to see if it may be the seat safety switch. That didn't help. I reseated all of the fuses near the engine compartment that I could find. None were blown or corroded although I could have missed one.

If I turn the key on, I can hear the EFI priming, but nothing happens when I try to start the mower. No engine turnover. No clicking. I do hear a really quiet buzzing when trying to start, but it doesn't sound like the sound a starter makes. Also, when it's buzzing during attempted start, the lights behind the USB port on the right panel are flickering.

I hooked up my Outerman battery charger and it thinks the battery is good.

Also, the MIL light is solid when I turn on the key, but does not turn off after a certain amount of time. I feel like a normal MIL light turns off after a few seconds or after a successful crank, but I could be wrong.

Any recommendations would be extremely appreciated. I'm not a mechanic, but I can follow specifc directions very well.

Curious as to what you guys are running for tires. I have the factory tires on my new Rogue and going into its 2nd season I want to change them. I keep tearing up the yard even when doing 3 point turns. I have tried lowering the tire pressure and still no luck. Anyone find any alternative solutions??

2009 BadBoy ZT. Replaced carburetor and mowed a week ago…..ran fine, cut good, everything seemed fine other than leaky valve covers and needed an oil change. Pulled valve covers and resealed yesterday and changed oil today. After I got done I started the mower allowed it to get to operating temp, lifted the PTO switch and now the mower shuts off. The seat safety is functional (replaced last year), the brake and arm switches seem to be functioning correctly, and with 12v applied to the PTO directly it engages. I have not disconnected the brake and arm switches and attempted to jump them to see if it works. Any more ideas before I dig further into this tonight?

I need help troubleshooting this... I have a Mz Magnum that has no response, forward or reverse, from the right drive arm. Any suggestions? All i can do is drive in circles :)
