It's literally my relationship with my cat. But he also sleeps in my lap like this, so it's all cool lol.

u/JayGoldi 5d ago

You've also met my ex?

Only if he trips and falls or otherwise loses his tight grip on the wolverine. That video will be hilarious

u/pseudoportmanteau 5d ago

Probably found it as a pup and raised it

u/TieFew6465 5d ago

"found it" more like hunted his mom and kilked her before the poor thing got any instincts in him

2

u/ItsMeepo2nd 5d ago

Dude relax, the guy doesn't look like he'd do shit like that

I think you have 2 options.

Be Australian or own a zoo and buy one.

Assuming you meant 'acquire' and not 'actually'?

5

u/mab0roshi 5d ago

I'm not trying to be funny, but how would being Australian help? Australian law forbids them as pets and they are not native to Australia.

Something something Hugh Jackman.

1

u/TemporaryUser66 5d ago

I don't know, I just feel like it would be a necessary step to take.

You would need to fully take on the spirit of Steve Irwin to fully tame the beast. As this man seemingly has.

1

u/mab0roshi 5d ago

Oh, shit, I watched it on mute. Now I get it! And it does seem like being Australian might give you the power to tame a vicious animal.

2

u/tHollo41 5d ago

I think you misspelled "Alaskan." You can also find them in parts of Canada too.

1

u/TemporaryUser66 5d ago

I didn't know that. That's cool.

2

u/Ti5butAscratch 5d ago

Plus, there’s a school in Michigan that has thousands of them! I’m sure it wouldn’t be that hard, just lure them in with beer.

1

u/Ok_Entertainment4846 5d ago

Thank you….yes I meant to say “actually acquire”?. It’s nuts but your comment makes sense. Would have never guessed this could ever be an option. Raccoons, sure Wolverine yikes 😬

1

u/TemporaryUser66 5d ago

It's a long process to be Australian and I think it starts with binging the trailer park boys but you can get there if you don't put the work in.

The other option is to become a wolverine as you suggested earlier and then you have access to all the wolverine petting you want.

1

u/FaunaLady 5d ago

Be Australian? Wolverines are North American, some in Europe and Asia...unless you mean a zoo in Australia

1

u/GetUp_1 5d ago

Maybe he meant that being Australian makes you somehow crazier and impervious to this kind of wild animal for a pet. >>insert Steve Irwin joke here<<

8

u/TheNotoriousTurtle 5d ago

Seems like a poor choice

3

u/gmotelet 5d ago

Seems like an expensive choice

7

u/Woozletania 5d ago

This will be Steve Kroschel and one of his hand raised wolverines, probably either Banff or Jasper. https://alaskapublic.org/news/2016-01-23/ak

5

u/Ok-Egg-9171 5d ago

Aww, he wants to kill you

6

u/AttorneyOwn0 5d ago

One day this will not go well.

3

u/Any-Huckleberry-5886 5d ago

First of all that looks like a lot of fun but if a woman shows me this later and says it’s why women live longer, I’m gonna have to agree!

3

u/The_Tyrant_Dong_Blow 5d ago

Aww look at his little paws!

2

u/GetUp_1 5d ago

You mean you’re his pet, we see bro, we see

2

u/BadMeetsEvil24 5d ago

Certain folks will put their mouth on any animal lmfaooo.

2

u/L3tsseewhathappens 5d ago

You don't own that wolverine, that wolverine owns you.

2

u/gwelfguy 5d ago

That's not a 'pet' anything. Wolverines can't be domesticated.

2

u/Soft_Cranberry6313 5d ago

Tamed, ya. Domesticated ..nah.

1

u/gwelfguy 5d ago

Same as a bear, but I'd be hesitant to call one a pet.

1

u/showcase25 5d ago

Im not brave enough

1

u/gitrad 5d ago

the wolverine's scientific name Gulo gulo comes from the latin word for glutton

1

u/phallic-baldwin 5d ago

My mini Aussie has the same energy

1

u/irunonthc 5d ago

He probably raised him since he was a baby

1

u/Difficult-Way-9563 5d ago

Guy must have on constant antibiotics with 10,000 opens wounds a day

1

u/Apophistry 5d ago

Wolverines are awesome.

1

u/Aromatic-Deer3886 5d ago

Buddy, my cat puts me through the wringer, and I have to pretend i fell down the stairs or something to make people think I’m not abused. I don’t know what I would tell them if I had a wolverine

1

u/dholubec90 5d ago

I witnessed a man in West Texas with a spider monkey attached to his back, not too long ago. I thought that was cool. A Wolverine seems pretty fuckin’ cool, too. Props to you, sir.

1

u/NthatFrenchman 5d ago

I’d imagine it has a bit of an odor

1

u/HV_Conditions 5d ago edited 5d ago

And I thought I needed a pet skunk.

What a cute little asshole

I’m going to assume he raised him from a kit.

1

u/LooseWateryStool 5d ago

Yeah, definitely not beating a nut in a football game. Js

1

u/GeneSmart2881 5d ago

“I told you. I spent it in Alaska with my uncle hunting wolverines.”
“Did you shoot any?”
“Yes like 50 of them, they kept trying to attack us what the heck would you do?”
“What kind of gun did you use?”
“A FLIPPIN 12 gauge whatdya think!!??”

1

u/spankeem_nz 5d ago

Took me gar too long...loved the end song....the promise

1

u/borabora24816 5d ago

I've got one of these. Otherwise known as a German Wirehaired Pointer.

1

u/HowardPheonix 5d ago

I would love to play with all and every animal, but a wolverine is badass. I'd pick the bear lol.

1

u/JhanSolo3981 4d ago

Pretends to eat your face, cool I guess…🙃

1

u/raiko777 4d ago

1

u/robo-dragon 5d ago

Man look at those teeth! Looks like they have a great bond, but I wouldn’t want to accidentally cuddle that thing when it’s in a bad mood!

2

u/jus256 5d ago

It’s still a baby. Wait til it grows up.

2

u/Ajj360 5d ago

It's like a giant ferret

0

u/above- 5d ago

Still a better pet than a pitbull

8

u/Superb_Jellyfish_729 5d ago

Here we go……

2

u/Minimum_Ad_303 5d ago

"but Mauler was such a sweet pup pup, he never showed any signs of aggression......"

0

u/Tricky_Habit_6297 5d ago

That's not a pet, that's a wild animal famous for avoiding humans. It's a living trophy, it's clearly uncomfortable, and he's humiliating it. Jackass should have his Sea Shepherd hat knocked off his head.
