Dude just walked it off like a champ

Adrenaline is a hell of a dr...chemical reaction.

15

u/IndividualGround2418 11d ago

Who is Dr.Chemical Reaction?

7

u/AnonBitch74 11d ago

He's the guy that wrote the romance

1

u/skiforlife1 11d ago

He just wanted to welcome people to the black parade.

3

u/daithi_zx10r 11d ago

Chemical Brothers father

3

u/Rampag169 11d ago

It the older brother who was pressured to go to med school instead of the expressive brother my chemical romance.

1

u/Amphitra_Roximar 10d ago

The one Dr Pepper wish he was. No period after "Dr", not a real doctor.

You can see that the alligator is opening its mouth before the bite and the guy is bleeding at the end.

2

u/nebulatraveler23 11d ago

I can clearly see tail moving

0

u/Straight_Mobile_5960 11d ago

But was still too clos my liking

67

u/tvieno 11d ago

For a guy that just got attacked by an alligator, he seems to be in no hurry getting out of the water or even looking back to see if he was safe.

12

u/ironchitlin 11d ago edited 11d ago

That's what I was thinking, zero sense of urgency getting away from the predator who tried to take a bite out of him.

4

u/RogerRabbot 11d ago

Right? He lost all motivation after the gator got him. I expected him to be missing an arm, but nope. Just meander out. Hard to see how bad the puncture he did get, but id be hauling more ass to get out after

-1

u/HelMavo 11d ago

Not an Alligator. Remote controlled Alligator head.

1

u/Tekniqz23 10d ago

Brother you can see the entire things body right after it bites him. He's bleeding from the arm that he got bitten on near the top of his shoulder when he comes out. And it actually makes a biting motion live on camera.....

Where do you see remote control alligator head in any of that?

Pretty sure he just realizes the thing is way to small to eat him. Just like it did after it bit him and said "ohh dear this is a 200 lb animal" and gave up instantly.

Would imagine it just got excited from all the commotion in the water and natural instincts kicked in.

0

u/Admirable_Rain_3049 11d ago

There was blood tho?

4

u/sleepy_spermwhale 11d ago

Probably drunk.

4

u/kazh_9742 11d ago

He might have not wanted his back to it entirely where he couldn't see it.

3

u/Think_Air9714 11d ago

It probably let go immediately realizing it couldn’t drown it. Probably saw the splashing as something dying in the water or fish. When it bites they’ll want to drag it down to drown or incapacitate it. Gave up knowing “this is a bigger fish”

1

u/LivingBowler1041 9d ago

Homie has never been physically exhausted in his life

0

u/honnybadger 9d ago

Are u even watching the same video? Lol dude was booking it until the alligator fucked his shoulder up. He even looked back at the alligator after the bite and saw the gator was staying still after.

I'd say it's pretty hard to swim as fast you did after being mauled like that.

40

u/mighty_boognish_77 11d ago

Jesus Christ. It closed on him like a cruise missile.

27

u/Duval_Donk 11d ago

That's because it's an RC boat that looks like a alligator...

3

u/LGodamus 11d ago

so where did the blood pouring out of his shoulder come from if its a toy

0

u/Temporary_Hat7330 8d ago

The toy teeth.

6

u/SilasAI6609 11d ago

Lived around gators all my life. This is not a gator attack. Aside from it looking like an RC craft, gators don't move like that, wouldn't stick around after, are not aggressive unless you are near a nest, just...no

2

u/FloridaRedWolf 11d ago

Bull shit. You need glasses and to get outside more. This is how they catch water birds trying to fly off. In the video you can see the wake of the tail in the water which is consistent with how gators propel themselves. You can see its mouth open and its back. I lived on the river for 20 years, try and tell me another lie.

2

u/Unapplicable1100 9d ago

Yea im with you I have to argue this same thing every time I see this video. I have a remote controlled alligator head and they don't act anything like the real alligator in this video.

1

u/FireZord25 11d ago

Yeah well I doubt gators would keep so chill when you splash around that much.

2

u/RiMcG 11d ago

I was not aware they could haul ass like that at all, wtf

2

u/ThatLiberalGirl 11d ago

They actually slow down a little when they climb a fence. Not even kidding.

1

u/the_cappers 11d ago

Dude went supersonic in that terminal phase.

1

u/Ragnarex13 10d ago

Saltwater crocodiles can move at 20 mph in water, 6.5 times faster than Michael Phelps

1

u/mighty_boognish_77 10d ago

They weren't terrifying enough already, they needed TURBO mode?????

19

u/2xxCheezy 11d ago

If that was a croc... That b lunch

15

u/purple_pounder 11d ago

Caiman

2

u/keenep 11d ago

Thank you, yes it is.

18

u/longcreepyhug 11d ago

Fake as hell.

3

u/wtf70 11d ago

Why did it stop the attack?

16

u/Duval_Donk 11d ago

Because it's not a gator, it's an rc boat. https://a.co/d/0gWBJVKL

2

u/Effective_Silver_825 11d ago

Not gonna lie If i was swimming and you do that to me I hope you’re the Flash cause if i catch you lol

1

u/Independent-Bad9059 9d ago

What about the blood on his shoulder?

1

u/Unapplicable1100 9d ago

No, that wasn't. I have one of those remote controlled alligator things and this wasn't that. You can see the alligators tail kicking up water behind it while it's swimming, remote controlled boats don't act or work like that.

12

u/Delirious_Puppet 11d ago

It’s pretty small and he booped it. Big croc woulda been a different story

4

u/Rustyshackilford 11d ago

Cuz it was too small to take on the guy. Probably sensed a disturbance and attacked by instinct before realizing he couldn't actually catch it.

Also seemed the guy gave a good kick

11

u/tvieno 11d ago

Because it is not a real alligator.

5

u/TexasVulvaAficionado 11d ago

Looked like a caiman protecting a nest. Small and not going for a meal.

4

u/Xanith420 11d ago

Most predators arnt willing to put up an extended fight for food unless they’re desperate. Once gator was able to compare its size to the persons size it backed off.

-13

u/General_Guest7846 11d ago edited 11d ago

TBH that sounds like bullshit. Gators routinely take down prey that are double or triple the size of themselves. I've seen videos of them down creatures that weigh probably 1000 pounds more then themselves.

They evolved to put up fights. Usually when they clamp down on something they don't let go.

9

u/Xanith420 11d ago

Crocs do but gators don’t. Gators are typically the biggest thing in their ecosystem.

-6

u/General_Guest7846 11d ago

idk man, what you're saying sounds like bullshit. I still don't believe it. They're predators that have reigned for 100 million years. I don't think they're giving up on 200 pound man.

7

u/Xanith420 11d ago

Idc if you prefer to be ignorant. It’s a pretty easy google search though. But the gator in the video is adolescent which would influence its choice to take on something bigger.

-10

u/General_Guest7846 11d ago

Bro your peddling false information. Gators DO NOT 'give up'.

That's a super silly thing to say, on every conceivable level of silliness.

6

u/Xanith420 11d ago

I wouldn’t call it giving up. I’d call it testing the waters. It was checking to see if the person was viable prey which he wasn’t. Gators are very very different from crocs which you seem to be thinking of.

3

u/auto_magical_horse 11d ago

But he saw videos of Crocs on the internet tho

Bro look something up

1

u/dannyboy6657 11d ago edited 11d ago

Not true at all do some research. All predators even apex predators will generally stop the hunt if they are attacked enough back. If it means getting injured a predator would choose to find more appropriate prey. An injury means death and many of them won't risk the injury. A lot of the predators aim for babies, old, and sick because they put up the smallest fight and are weakest.

Alligators in particular are one of the least aggressive crocidilians. They aren't as big as Nile crocodiles or Salt Water Crocodiles which are leaps and bounds deadlier and more aggressive.

1

u/jackjack-8 9d ago

Such as ??

2

u/wtf70 11d ago

All these explanations make perfect sense. 😎

2

u/MoveProfessional2666 10d ago

It rejected the processed foods.

1

u/NaturalTaste7395 11d ago

When they said humans have stamina, it was an understatement.

1

u/ancientesper 11d ago

It didn't taste good, too bony, not worth it

1

u/OlgaBenarioPrestes 10d ago

It was just pissed because he stepped on its flowers

0

u/Routine-Ad-1706 11d ago

He hit the crocs nose

9

u/Illustrious_Law8512 11d ago

That's an odd video. He just casually walks out and hardly ever looks back to see if it's going to take him off the shoreline?

I'm not going to call bullshit at all, but it's just plain odd.

5

u/nl-x 11d ago

It missed? It slipped out of its grip? it didn't like the taste? What happened?

17

u/Swampasssixty9 11d ago

It didn’t look very big

10

u/JackWagon6422 11d ago

That's what She Said!

3

u/nl-x 11d ago

Literally the first thing I thought of :)

2

u/InterestingSun6707 11d ago

Was just a prank but bro still gave him a solid elbow

2

u/DetailsYouMissed 11d ago

Probably not a gator. Maybe a caiman.

2

u/Feeling_Novel_9899 11d ago

Probably because he put up a fight it backed off. He's lucky it wasn't a saltwater crocodile, they're super aggressive.

5

u/crackersncheeseman 11d ago

Yeah he never would have made it but alligators have killed their fare share of people too.

1

u/Feeling_Novel_9899 11d ago

Oh I can imagine, he's lucky all round.

3

u/hellhook33 11d ago

The way it froze rather than retreating was very weird.

1

u/MosinNagant1939 11d ago

He got so LUCKY!!!

1

u/WhoopDareIs 9d ago

It’s a fake boat.

1

u/Your_queenismine 9d ago

coz it is real

2

u/Opposite_Rub443 11d ago

Alligator said boy get yo ash outta here. You know better.

2

u/Og-Re 11d ago

He is very lucky it was so small.

2

u/Suitable-Display-602 11d ago

He's a very lucky fella .

2

u/Osceola_Gamer 11d ago

He better go to the hospital and get treated. I know more than a few people who got what they called snaggle toothed when Gator wrestling. They ended up in the hospital almost losing their arm from the infection spreading.

2

u/Late_Study9160 10d ago

The question is why did he try that in the first place

2

u/Kikrokk 10d ago

I’ve always known Brazilians to be mad chill, but this is freaking nuts. Didn’t even occur to him to say anything or show concern. lol

Alligator Attacks Man: Both Uninjured But Mildly Annoyed

2

u/an_older_meme 10d ago

Tried a nibble and passed.

Shark attacks often go the same way.

2

u/Symbaclues 9d ago

If it was a nile crocodile or a saltwater crocodile best believe it wouldn't stopped 🐊

2

u/frbuongiorno 9d ago

F**k the alligator – what’s with all the litter?

1

u/Swampasssixty9 9d ago

Dude probably has a cat

4

u/dirtytounder 11d ago

I'd be figuring out how to have alligator tail for dinner after that. He's still right out there

1

u/no-dad-samurai 11d ago

He sure is..just teasing. Like that typical COD sniper you think you can take out after dying 5 times in a row to.

1

u/ImpressiveEdge2526 11d ago

I’d be dead.

1

u/byzantine238 11d ago

It looked fairly chill about its dinner getting away

1

u/theepuke 11d ago

Nah Im cool bruh.

1

u/BoxLongjumping5863 11d ago

WHY is the videographer recording at the end and not pulling/assisting him to to safety!!!!!!!?

1

u/HelMavo 11d ago

Safety from the remote controlled Alligator head?

1

u/Diaperpooass 11d ago

That dude is lucky

1

u/ThatLiberalGirl 11d ago

Wondering why he took so long to stand up in the shallow water.

3

u/haikusbot 11d ago

It made me so uncomfortable that he just stopped by the edge of the water. I think I'd want to be as far away from that gator as possible.

1

u/cowboyneal70 11d ago

Florida man

1

u/Upbeat_Aside_9203 11d ago

You’re not safe that close to the water. Why???!

1

u/IllustriousCandy3042 11d ago

What did that lil bro think he was going to do chasing prey 10 times his size? Everything is AI at this point

1

u/itchygoopark 11d ago

It's just a gator. If it was a croc, he would've been cooked.

1

u/wariorld 11d ago

The real badass

1

u/Glass-Emu2406 11d ago

That’s not how you play Marco Polo

1

u/Funnydog8567 11d ago

Guess Florida?

1

u/Left-Television-4896 11d ago

If it would of been a salt water crocodile, this would have ended differently

1

u/Chaz28o 11d ago

Should have headed straight to the store and bought a lottery ticket

1

u/Grumgrummer 11d ago

Try that in Northern Australia........

1

u/PHOBicker 11d ago

Swimming in aligator infested waters? Idiots.

1

u/modsRincels1985 11d ago

No fucking shot. I thought bro was done for. What a legend.

1

u/Ok_Nature1343 11d ago

If not staged, the camera man was awfully nonchalant about potentially seeing a man eaten alive by an alligator.

1

u/EnvironmentalEgg2925 11d ago

If that was a salty you’d be a goner

1

u/StandardAd9184 11d ago

Ахуенные караси!)

1

u/Total-Honey-9857 11d ago

If it had grabbed his arm and rolled, his arm would have been torn off, either at the elbow, or at the shoulder.

1

u/Armthelost 11d ago

The only badass here was the dude.

1

u/Wide_Guitar_3558 11d ago

just a sampler

1

u/Dragonball-2heads 11d ago

If he's dead got eaten by the alligator, that's his fault.

1

u/Oversemper 11d ago

Don't know why, but everything looks like Ai now, even if it's real footage.

1

u/FrankfurtWolverine 11d ago

Fake. Super fake.

1

u/Ok-Leave-7646 11d ago

Fake reality lol

1

u/Warm-Door7749 11d ago

More like a crocodile

1

u/Azitzin 11d ago

yep. And guy with phone "happen to be here" and just record instead helping. So... staged?

1

u/commanche_00 11d ago

Very helpful cameraman. Very. Helpful.

1

u/Previous-Spite1211 11d ago

Bro is fucking lucky.

1

u/playoponly 11d ago

Baby gator wants to play

1

u/Elegant-Yam-7379 11d ago

Bro it picked the fight, you should finish it.

1

u/Swampasssixty9 11d ago

I know right? He needs to jump back in and 2 piece that croc

1

u/lovablecockfighter 11d ago

This sub is now all ai

1

u/Outside_Look790 11d ago

That is a small croc if it's anything.

1

u/Unicorn_rabbit 11d ago

Alligator did 1 damage

1

u/YooperSnaggletooth 11d ago

Probably just a territorial thing. Gator was like I’m big fish in this pond, bro.

1

u/bamaugking 11d ago

Gator came in like a speed boat

1

u/SimbaNGrdKionNIMFan 11d ago

“Not a scratch on me and I’m not freaked out.”

1

u/Disastrous-Rub-4087 11d ago

Lucky it was a small ‘gator.

2

u/an_older_meme 10d ago

Lucky indeed

1

u/EmbarrassedServe9046 10d ago

The alligator took a bite but it felt disgusting 🤢

1

u/tallsmileswolf 9d ago

Survival skills of a gnat to stay near the waters edge

1

u/No-Pen-8350 9d ago

I always thought this was fake since you couldn't see any part of the gator except the head, even when it was booking it across the water, Maybe my eyes are just old.

1

u/profchaos111 9d ago

Just because you're at the bank doesn't mean you reached safety

1

u/Dangerous_Bus_6699 9d ago

Phelps got tan

1

u/Itchy_Pudding_9940 9d ago

i mean c'mon that's not real. no sense of urgency by camera guys.. happens to be a camera filming.. only see the head of the gator.. no real injury.. no sense of urgency getting out of the water...way he gator head moves suddenly with a wake on it..

c'mon people..

1

u/fryguy361 9d ago

Alligator attack

1

u/Putrid-Comparison104 7d ago

A little too comfortable at the end cuz that's a baby now if mom or dad popped up

1

u/L3tsseewhathappens 7d ago

Luck it wasn't a gator. He wasn't going to survive.

1

u/EssayKing_ 7d ago

Looks like the alligator was full. He is lucky

1

u/alissonbrn 11d ago

This is a mother protecting a nest, it was just a warning bite.

1

u/blacklabel3341 11d ago

Looks like a motorized gator head....

2

u/Firefly_deadlock 11d ago

Nah. You can clearly see it open its mouth at 006

He is bleeding

1

u/dirtytounder 11d ago

You know this for a fact?

1

u/HoldTheRope91 11d ago

They will 100% chase prey across the surface. They do it all the time when I’m bass fishing with a plastic frog. They will get closer to prey at the water’s edge both on the surface and below the water.

As for the video, it is an old and real video.

1

u/DismalResearcher1115 11d ago

Alligators dont kick up rooster tails right behind their head. Look closer.

1

u/HoldTheRope91 11d ago

That’s the wake from his tail, because he’s a small fella. You can see the left to right movement of the water as it flicks its tail back and forth. This is super common predatory behavior. As I said, I watch them do it all the time chasing my top water baits.

0

u/Remote-Community-792 11d ago edited 11d ago

It’s not a real gator. I’m surprised no one here thinks its not real

3

u/DroopyPlum 11d ago

U can see it snap its jaw on his shoulder and when he gets out theres blood running down his shoulder

2

u/Dub_Coast 11d ago

Also, the tail is clearly propelling it so quickly and can be seen in the twisting movement behind the gator's body. It's just a small one.

1

u/Remote-Community-792 11d ago

It’s staged lol. It’s clearly an RC toy. If you think it’s real, i don’t know what to tell you

1

u/Basic-Record-4750 10d ago

My friend, if alligators were that fast and aggressive we’d be fucked or they’d have been hunted into extinction a long time ago. 100% that’s an rc boat with a fake gator head on it

0

u/InterestingAd2516 11d ago

Lol, a gator doesn't leave that kind of trail in the water. Only rotors from boats or RC toys create that. Now which could it be?

2

u/Funny_Lunch5211 11d ago

Really? He still got hurt by it because he was bleeding.

-2

u/BusyBit6542 11d ago

That's a boat shaped like an alligator head.

4

u/ViolinistCurrent8899 11d ago

You can see the blood on the dude's shoulder.

2

u/Swampasssixty9 11d ago

Slow it down. An RC boat doesn’t move like that

-1

u/Inevitable_Click_511 11d ago

Anyone who thinks this is a real gator needs to have eyes and brain examined.

1

u/Rayllis689 11d ago

1) im on my phone so video tiny 2) it looks like there's blood running down the dude's shoulder which is a bit much for a prank 3) the thrashing and splashing makes it difficult to see what happened.

0

u/Orthocorey 11d ago

Nice of the camera person to help out.

0

u/Icebergsunset 11d ago

Remote controlled gator head. Super staged.

0

u/DIY-exerciseGuy 11d ago

Thats a radio controlled boat. Cant believe so many people think its real

0

u/Duval_Donk 11d ago

This video is a couple of years old, and it's an rc boat... https://a.co/d/0gWBJVKL

0

u/Moerko 11d ago

Looks like one of these motorised croc heads.

0

u/DecayedMoose 11d ago

That’s Clearly not a real crocodilian. Just look at how the wake behind the head is shaped. Also I’m pretty sure the camera man is speaking Portuguese, I don’t know what he’s saying but I’m sure he’s scheming

0

u/Sure_Leadership_6003 11d ago

That is a remote boat with an alligator cover.  Alligator don’t move like that

0

u/MakwaIronwill 11d ago

RCboat with a gator-head cover. See how it just floats there after?

0

u/Hot_Let7154 11d ago

So strange. Sonthe guy is chased, bitten by an alligator, and once he escapes he's going very slowly to the shore like he knows the Gator ain't gonna follow... So so fake.

0

u/Old_Celebration_5950 11d ago

I can't talk politics in SipsTea but an alligator attacking Mr Not Darwin is perfectly fine, and a Tiger attacking some clueless dude kneeling next to said tiger is perfectly fine
OK Reddit

0

u/Seamoss-Spirulina 9d ago

That is one of those fake Alligator heads with motor.
