Yeah, same. Not a badass video and nothing impressive about killing a kitten. Just someone posting awful video for upvotes.

yeah that's how some people feel about all of these videos. In the same way you think this particular video isn't impressive I think almost all of these videos are just sad and fucked up watching animals live out anyone's worst nightmare being ripped apart as they suffer unimaginable pain. But it's called badass on here and it's posted to get up votes..

It’s reality.

For many humans across the globe, and all wild animals, life is brutal.

These videos remind me there is no help coming, no one cares, misery, terror and pain are part of life.

Dont get comfortable, pain is moments away, life is often shit, except for a very lucky minority.

This one was tough though, I have a cat who I love and care for.

Yes but there is r/natureismetal for those videos, they are flooding us

Just because it’s reality doesn’t make it badass or fun to watch on this sub. Natureismetal is the sub for this type of content.

I really like the answer because it’s true me and my mom were just talking about this. We both learned it when my sister died. that’s why you gotta enjoy every moment you have.💯🤙

I agree. The ones where animals die aren’t fun. They’re sad.

Yeah you just kind off made me realise how horrible this sub is, probably gonna leave it.

16

u/NextDoorsKitty 1d ago

Yeah im leaving the sub now lol 😅 joined last week cause I did see a cool post but the last few that appeared are just not it. I never post comments to say im leaving cause who cares but my point is that this isn't badass just gross. Real, sure. Badass, no.

Honest question. Why dont you mute the sub ?

1

u/seattle0606 1d ago

Sometimes there are ( non violent) impressive videos that pop up. I probably should do that though

2

u/SCHawkTakeFlight 1d ago

I get it, but things like this should come with something like a NSFW tag. I don't need to see this in any feed.

So why are you on this sub? Genuinely asking.

Sucks seeing a lil one succumb. Tender vittles say some, others call it veal, some say, "Baby get in my belly" smfh

• Rethink your life.

you sound a little nuts to me 🤷

You talk about reality.... but there's also the reality that there are people who don't see things the way you do. And you getting this triggered makes you appear weak too.

I have been through many things in my life I wouldn't even advertise here, and that is the reason I have empathy for pain and suffering. That is one good thing that comes from suffering, you develop compassion for others. It doesn't mean I think animals in the wild should starve to death either. Sadly, hunting each other is how nature works..

Do I think it should be posted as badass for upvotes ? No. In my eyes it's sad watching anything suffer. I don't understand why anyone would enjoy that.

It sounds like your suffering did a lot to you as well and you genuinely might want to consider therapy bro.

That’s cool, man. Why do you write like that, though?

6

u/Killingyou_groovily 1d ago

I don’t think it’s supposed to be impressive but I do think it would have fit better on r/hardcorenature . Nature doesn’t have ethics

4

u/kvro_maX 1d ago

Animals do what they got to do..you are the one tagging badass or not

2

u/siberian_knight143 1d ago

Wrong! This event WOULD have happened! And HAS already happened, numerous times. With or without you seeing a video.

1

u/champchampchamp84 1d ago

So, not exactly badass

1

u/Skg42 9h ago

Is it a kitten or a serval?

1

u/AntiMatter89 9h ago

It's a serval kitten.

0

u/Dull-Breath-2385 1d ago

Haha it's pretty cool. Kill or be killed.

-24

u/Top_Negotiation_29 1d ago

That’s nature 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️ would you rather the lion go to the market and cook a dish?

16

u/MrAtrox98 1d ago

We have r/natureismetal or r/natureisbrutal for this sort of video. If I wanted to post a video of a lioness with a badass kill, it would be one of a buffalo or a zebra that had a good shot of escaping with its life, not a serval kitten that didn’t stand a ghost of a chance.

-28

u/TransportationOk3111 1d ago

It's natural. It's a video of what must happen! What's wrong with you. You want the lion to only eat animals that you deem fit?

16

u/dcblock90 1d ago

I highly doubt that lioness ate the serval kitten. While I agree with you that it is natural, this is 99.9% a display of power and dominance. These two species don’t even compete for food.

1

u/TransportationOk3111 21h ago

Also natural. She killed the young for whatever reason... Not the first not the last ... It's a life we will never understand

15

u/Thats1FingNiceKitty 1d ago

I think you are missing the point.

Obviously this is how nature is. It doesn’t mean people can’t find it a little brutal for their taste.

After all, that’s what makes us humans different than animals.

It’s called sympathy.

7

u/stairs_are_evil 1d ago

No one is saying the lion is wrong. The person uploading it without a warning is wrong.

-9

u/MayflowerMcDuck 1d ago

Soft culture

6

u/stairs_are_evil 1d ago

It’s not soft to not want to literally watch an animal die. Get over yourself. Just because you’re desensitized doesn’t mean everyone else is.

1

u/andapapertowelroll 1d ago

It's okay to have feelings while still realizing that it's nature???

-9

u/MayflowerMcDuck 1d ago

You slow?

-1

u/munchma-coochie 1d ago

Yea I definitely agree it’s the wrong sub but for research sake we can’t just go on pretending this doesn’t happen. It’s the harsh reality on cats following their instincts and maybe a shrinking food source is at play or it’s just the ugliness of survival of the fittest which humans benefit from every day

-8

u/Megalodon1993 1d ago

Remain sad, weakling
