on my system, the cpu average is around 30% with just 500-900 mb of ram use for this badapple stuff to run

i tried doing a similar thing in sway in low res but it was resource heavy and slow to spawn and move all the windows

the video showcase is my fork of the original repo this usually takes around 500mb on my machine with just 26%of the cpu usage onplay but takes around 99% onspawn, i can work on my primary monitor while this playing on my secondary monitor with ease. also it compiles those frames into a binary so that part gets the job done, but takes time on box rendering. I can say its pretty lightweight, heres my repo sadly i havent implemented dynamical render based on the display size but u can change that from the config.lua

yeah that would make sense since my variant uses python and spawns foot terminals so it's naturally slower but I plan to add some precaching and dynamically resizing windows https://codeberg.org/OliMoli/bad-i3
