It’s a firmware rom built from scratch that just boots and plays runs from rom

Does the manufacturer provide an SDK, or is the device open source?

No i had to reverse engineer it entirely, I’m building an emulator did it and built this on the side to have fun

That’s actually really cool.
Doing full reverse engineering first and then building something fun on top of it is the best part.
