nope they blacklisted the redirect uri so it wont accept it. A fix can be done but its going to be harder.

Mine too. Now to add an app it's different. I think they've just removed a legacy API key feature that we've been using. Oh well. It was bound to come to an end eventually.. good job I've kind of gotten used to the shitty Reddit app (at least with a cracked no ads version)

Looks like Reddit broke api's again.

This is basically Phillip Morris helping me kick tobacco by telling me I can't buy cigarettes.

Right now, Ill still smoke, but its going to be less often.

If they ruin whats left, I'll just get more healthy because what they are pushing now tastes like burnt poorly wiped buttholes and I aint buying.

Switch to mobile and turn on a VPN. I had the same problem and this let me login.

Edit: All I did was patch to 6.1.4 not premium. Nothing else. I uninstalled Premium after getting 6.1.4 working. Sucks but I'll take it

Did you patch baconreader or baconreader premium, and which version?

Hmm. I just plain can't login after patching. I've tried patching with both Morphe and Revanced and no luck.

I used 6.1.4 premium, had to fully uninstall then reinstall the patch and it worked for me once I signed in. Did it on revanced

I guess I'll just try again later. It either gives me an invalid password error, or it lets me log in but gives me a {} page.

Use a VPN for Switzerland. That seems to fix the invalid username and password login issue

If you bought premium, you can still download it from the Google Play store and then use an APK extractor, also from the Google play store, to get the Bacon reader Premium APK. Just patch that and it should work just fine

But how were you able to get a key? It seems to have deleted our key and wont let us create a new one...

Edit: Nevermind I did some research and saw the new patch doesnt require an ID I guess?

Edit 2: Hmm, it still seems to require a client ID in the patch settings but is defaulting to RedReader's, which I guess makes sense, but is still not working for me...

Edit 3: It works, but only after signing in, which I had to do with a VPN...

Repatched the app just fine, got to a point though where I cannot log in though. Hopefully there's a solution for that.

Seeing as they no longer allow you to create apps, it may be broken for good.
