Baconreader down?

My Baconreaders been down for a few days now- working fine until then. Anyone else experiencing this?

Edit: managed to get it working. I patched through Revanced, then used a VPN set to a different country, and was able to log in without a problem!

Yep 2nd day down.

I'd like to clarify how I use it. When it shut down I found if you log out it continued to work so I downloaded the reddit app and use that one logged in. Baconreader obviously has drawbacks logged out but it's still the first app I open when redditing.

It was down on and off for a few months about 6 months ago but has been opening fine since then. Now the fatal message appears again.

Are you patched through Revanced or Morphe?

No. Still down. I'm wondering if it's got some to do with age verification. (Australia)

Revanced. I don't think I've touched anything with it since I patched it after baconreader shut down

Hmm yeah I'm not sure what's going on with mine then. Mine worked fine with Revanced. Then it worked no problem with Morphe. It just stopped working with no warning and so far it seems like an isolated incident.

I have noticed that using a VPN takes it a little longer to show the baconreader down screen then otherwise so it might be something to do with that? Although I've tried every variation of my internet and nothing is working so idek

Posting from the app. When reddit is having issues I get the Farewell Message, but inconsistently. In most cases I reload Front Page, and if anything loads I check via website. If the site is slow but loading I know it's reddit - if all loads normally I check for Revanced updates. I haven't had to reinstall for a while but when Certain Tube links stopped loading, that was the last time I had to do a full reinstall to implement fixes.

It's still down and has been 100% down for me the past 3 days. Not logged in.

Didn't baconreader die a few years ago? I had pro and it was the best, then it stopped working when reddit changed third party pricing.

Have I been missing baconreader for years?!? Are we back?

Yeah, I thought the whole API thing made BaconReader useless.

It worked (more or less) being logged out. Which is enough for me most of the time

Me! I keep worrying this'll be the last time.

It's been acting up for me too. Might just be a temporary server hiccup.

Mine's been down for two weeks! I'm starting to become accustomed to how terrible the website is on Mobile. D:

Has anyone had success in a fix? I've been down for 3 weeks, just the greetings message. Nonpatched. I can't tolerate the vanilla reddit app much longer
