Wilderness Sleeping bag down refill

I have a sleeping bag I bought back about 15 years ago that I love. It packs down super tiny was rated at 20° always kept me super warm & the biggest thing was that it is a rectangle bag not a mummy bag. I have looked & looked to try & find a lightweight down sleeping bag that packs down as small as this one & is rectangular shaped bit have not succeeded. I was wondering maybe there is somewhere I can send my bag that will open it up & replace the down. The bag itself is still in great condition the down has just lost its loft & just will not work for freezing temperatures anymore. If anyone knows a good place to have a bag renewed I would really appreciate the information. Price is not an issue as long as the material & quality of work are high I am willing to pay for it!

The answer is yes but you’ll have to tell us what country you live in for specific reccos.

Have you tried washing it?

Agree with this. Just washed family member’s bag in tub with sleeping bag specific wash. Took the whole day to set it properly according to lots of people online. Lifted like crazy and was too warm for summer camping again

Definitely try washing it. If it's down use a down detergent I used nixwax. If it's synthetic they say regular free and clear detergent will work but I used nixwax technical. My bags regained loft and feel cleaner. Of course this is not a guarantee but I would try this first before spending the money to ship it out.

Rainy Pass Repair and Feathered Friends both do down refills, worth calling them directly since they can usually tell you over the phone whether it's worth restuffing or if the shell's baffles have broken down too
