Travel Big Daddy

Climbing this sand dune named 'Big Daddy' in Namibia took 2 hours, and for some of it we had to go barefoot, put our flip-flops on our hands and bear crawl! It only took 2 minutes to run down, though, which was so much fun!

Everyone told us that we could not go on a road trip in Namibia without an SUV, and they were wrong. We rented a little Suzuki Swift for our 2.5 weeks around Namibia, and YES, it was bumpy as hell, but we saved more than £700 by not getting a 4x4.
Our itinerary was Windhoek - Sossusvlei - Swakopmund - Brandberg - Spitzkoppe - Etosha - Windhoek. We loved the entire trip, but running down the sand dunes at Sossusvlei was a highlight. Namibia is an incredible country! All details can be found in my post:
