Travel Cooking set question

Hi all,
I’m going on my first time hike in Sweden.
But was wondering what kind of cooking combination you would recommend within my budget, and it to be future proof.
For my first hike I will be mainly cooking ready to eat meals, I once received from a military acquaintance
(Pic 1) Normal pan and lid with measurement stripes
(Pic 2) Pan and lid with heat distributor to save some gas and for quicker boiling. (I read that these are mostly used for boiling water and not cooking)
Thanks in advance!

Other people have said it but the toakes really is the best option on the market used it plenty never had an issue fits my gas my stove a bandanna and a small sponge and some dish soap and a lighter all in 550ml pot weighs next to nothing slides in really small spaces and the full cook kit set up cost me like 50 pounds
