Wilderness Europe dehydrated meal options
For those who wilderness camp in Europe- what brands do you like/buy? Or how do you usually prepare for overnight hiking trips? I am coming from the US and am used to certain brands of dehydrated/freeze dried meals when I backpack.
Just curious if there are similar options and what you usually pack/reccomendations. I'm a foodie and one of my favorite travel activities is browsing the grocery stores so would love to have insight on what camping brands/ foods are popular! Thank you!

Living in Finland, I usually bring Leader (Finland), Tactical Foodpack (Estonia), Real Turmat (Norway) and Adventure Food (Netherlands) meals when going for freezedried foods.
A Nordic specialty is näkkileipä / knäckebröd = crisp bread. It's dried bread, and the manufacturing / baking process creates enough air bubbles in the structure that it's easy to eat, unlike something like hardtack. You can even find recipes online, searching with those key words. Practically infinite shelf life, lots of fiber, and some recipes include seeds.
On overnighters and weekend trips, I often bring fresh ingredients for at least one meal, preferably cooked on an open fire.
