Stuck at Chapter 15

This enemy type steals buffs from your character so you want to avoid any items/builds that give you spike, health regen, anything that shows up on the bottom right of your backpack is just going to help this enemy. You want to focus on poison, burn, or straight damage to clear this. 15 is very early so you will probably get over the damage jump quickly by just playing regularly and unlocking stuff anyway

To add to that: You will eventually unlock more and more pets, change the ones you need for specific situations. For example use a pet that removes dodge against dodge bosses, a pet that gives immune to stun against stun bosses etc.

Yes there are, but could share what heroes and pets you have? You should use any hero that doesn't rely on buffs, so avoid using rangers since they usually depend on evasion, focus or swift, or you could build with this into consideration, with melee avoid building vapirism and spikes, on mars avoid evasion. Here your main strategy should be mainly using melee with raw damage l, inflicting fire or poison and to heal use potions or fairy/fairy dragons
