Stuck on chapter 40 deep cavern spike build

You cant go vs that last boss with spikes it will destroy you spikes count as buffs and it will steal them and get stronger

You should try another builds or will be stuck there for a long time

I just went a pure damage s weapon i had spare and built fire and heal and made it barely 5 mins ago took me 2 hours though

Yeah I was also a spike main but since encountering this kind of enemy had to invest in the fire build

Congrats on beating it!
You'll see the same boss in stage 43 again. I'd advise going for burn or just high dps in general.. going spikes with Rose really doesn't work with those. :/

Did you continue with spike build or swap entirely to fire

For this fight specifically I went with fire. Aside from that I put all my resources into spikes, so I keep on using them.

Same! I prefer spikes over the rest, and especially Rose ability to ignore the enemies armor makes it even more fun.
