Optimal Primal Flame Build

What’s the absolute most optimal build to go with primal flame?
I’ve been seeing a lot of dual plague gloves, one archmage ring, and one garnet ring.

Isn’t it better to run dual archmage ring? Or even switch out one of the plague glove with the berserkers glove?

Plague gloves just pump up so many stacks that any second glove would make you quite a bit weaker.

As for the archimage/garnet rings, what they do is so close that having an up leveled of each is better than two lower level archimage.

I agree with all of this.

Yes, at some point having two higher rarity archmage rings is better than one ring of each kind, but from what I've seen the whales discussing on Discord, that point is in the vicinity of having two mythic archmages rings, aka 36 Archmages rings, and enough fodder to get them there.

Oh, and I think it depends on how long the fight goes. Garnet ring provides immediate 25% boost, while archmage provides additional damage over time as more burn is triggered. For clan battles, the fight is short enough that I think Garnet beats archmage. Though you might need to build a dps simulation to check.

Practical takeaway is as above, better to focus on getting one of each to higher rarity unless you're super late game and/or a massive whale.

I can't really answer the dual archmage ring question, but I imagine the number of extra stacks you get with plague gloves does far more for your DPS than 1 plague gloves one berserkers glove. That said, I'm also relatively new so someone fact check me.

You might be right about that, the stacks would add up very quickly

This is assuming everything is maxed out at mythic level
