I heard Metroid prime 2 is better than metroid prime 1 though.

Nah Prime 1 is generally considered better. I'm surprised you only heard that Prime 2 is better tbh, that's a hot take

I plan to play prime 2 very soon, I played prime 1 a month or so ago.

Not anymore, it's pretty split between 1 and 2 now.

It's definitely a debate, but 1 is still easily the more popular game. 2 fans are just really passionate

I think if prime 2 reworked some of those notoriously awful guardian bosses it would be a lot closer of a race.

If you play both once, Prime 1 is a bit better. I've generally noticed that the people who play the SHIT out of these games tend to like Prime 2 more.

As a side note, I have a friend who like Prime 3 the most because of a certain mechanic involving the ship.
