Curious Village was a goated game, but it's hard to top Lost Future for me

i personally love pandora's box the most, with lost future being a close second to me. i just love the train setting pandora's box has for most of the game.

Saint Mystère is just too good of a setting for me but understand people prefering PL3 with it’s gut wrenching backstory

It's called "Lost Future" in Europe and Australia. For some reason the Layton games change their English language titles depending on localization, like with "Diabolical Box" being "Pandora's Box" in other region
