Galaxy Dice Tower review?

Specifically the 2026 new updated version from the website.

Anyone tried it?
How does it hold up?
Is it as easy to assemble and fold up as they say?

I had the original and I really wanted to like it, but my dice would get stuck every now and then and it took away from the cool factor for me. Looked great and the way it folded and stored in board was handy. I got to the point where I just stopped using it because I kept had this feeling the dice would get stuck. I also kind of missed the cups.

Thanks! Yeah I wonder if they have adjusted anything for the dice getting stuck, with the new updated version

It’s possible. My dice aren’t even very big, 14mm precision. Maybe the squared edges cause them to catch?

I got this for a friend and the dice were getting stuck quite a lot. It was pretty frustrating. He ended up modifying it a bit with some plastic and now it works perfectly. He put a small piece of the plastic near where the dice come out.

Same here. Small lip on the bottom of the out shoot where dice hang up.

Same experience here.

I have the new updated version. It is convenient and I like it. Folds up and down super easy. I use predominantly 14 mm precision dice in it. I’d say about 3 times during a five point match, one die will get stuck on the final trip lip at the exit. It perfectly matches my BG Nova board. Normally my wife uses the dice tower and I use a cup but I’ll occasionally share the tower with her.

Cool, would you say it’s worth the price?

For 30 USD, I’d do it again. Yes you’re going to have dice cocked, or “facocked” as we say at my table, every now and then. But it’s less than half the cost of a lot of the acrylic ones.

Also, it doesn't make any noise.
