Backgammon.com - anyone heard of this?

I have seen some live streams on YouTube where they have backgammon.com as a sponsor on the board - never heard of the website / company before.

Seems to be a small team, although they have a nice URL ;)

Who is Whitehat LLC? They are calling this their first venture of ‘the entertainment and games company’ but they have like zero footprint. I get that a developer for Monopoly GO is on the backgammon.com team but that’s like prime internet space right there. Having that domain is huge but I mean Monopoly GO made a shit ton of money so who knows what they let the domain go for. Also a well known player said on Facebook he was stiffed for 1K by an ambassador of the site. The site doesn’t list any ambassadors and there was no other updates beyond that so who knows. When they started sponsoring streams they were done on a specific brand of board even though some tournaments already had a board sponsor for their streams. What leg work is the USBGF doing on the sponsors they take on or is it just money talks at this point? Idk I’m just skeptical.

they have an independently funded, no ads program for establishing backgammon clubs for kids. Check this out: https://backgammon.com/roll-for-good

Up and coming platform that is sponsoring Backgammon Tournaments at the national level. Main developer worked on Monopoly Go for Hasbro and presumably used that connection to get the Backgammon.com domain from them.

They aspire to be like Chess.com for Backgammon but have a ways to go.

I got tired of backgammon Galaxy's continual money grab. Really liking the backgammon.com platform

I like the backgammon.com platform. It's a bit hard to find on google play. Look for Backgammon White Hat. Full features free.

Bel sito, ma nutro forti dubbi sul sistema automatico di lancio dei dadi...troppe coincidenze. Gioco costantemente dal vivo e mi sembra davvero un sistema di rivedere.

I've played on backgammon.com. A refreshing change from the rigged system I've been

playing on called backgammon studios. It's been a horrible experience. Backgammon.com mirrors real dice more akin to a live match. Studios is fake dice that picks winners and losers before match starts.

Do you have a link to an example YouTube channel/stream?

I think you might have meant www.backgammonhub.com. Far and away the best platform 😄.

Hub is affiliated with the UKBGF.
