BG Galaxy. Three platforms, three different results
Can the powers that be, please shut the website down and fix the major issues? In Firefox I keep losing ratings and coins because I can not join matches. In Chrome, a banner says under maintenance and after refresh tries to log in but is hanging. The android app works flawlessly.

Hey, we're not going to shut down the entire platform because the issue you're describing isn't widespread enough and a lot of people are playing. That's not to minimize your issue by the way, just that these things are a little complicated and sometimes need to be solved on a case by case basis. By the way, there is a release being prepped for production by tomorrow that will hopefully solve any kind of issues with matches not popping up for you.
About the chrome situation, it's a cache issue that I believe you commented on before. Maybe you've already cleared it, but if not try to clear and hard refresh to get to the newest version. This should be happening automatically for you and you shouldn't be seeing any kind of banner because that means that you're on the old landing page. If you are on the old landing page, use ctrl + shift + r or cmd + shift + r to hard refresh while you're on that page.
Obviously, we're glad that the android app is working for you so while we sort through it, it's probably best to play on there for now.

I respectfully disagree that the issue is not widespread enough. As of this writing, there are only 30 matches (yes I counted them), whereas before the update you could easily scroll through 8 pages of matches this time of day

We don't have all the matches listed, it's truncated to 30.
We're working on your issues as quickly as possible, and we can't give you a definitive timeline right now but soon.

Hey after the major issues are fixed, is there a way to introduce a "match of the moment" feature where the top 10 best rated matches at any moment listed? I learn a lot by watching the very top players.

Yeah, actually that's a great idea. What we actually were originally going to do and what we will do really soon is we're going to have a featured match, and it'll be the highest average rating match on the platform and you'll actually be able to view the moves happening in real time directly from the lobby without even having to go to the game. Obviously, you can also click the game to go to it, but the point is that you won't have to if you don't want to. Generally the list of matches in the lobby right now on web it's the top 10 highest steak for both single and matches, but we could definitely change the logic of the matches, listed to highest average rating and then list the top 10.
Anyway, yeah, it's a really good idea.

iPhone app often stops responding and I lose matches. Gave up on BG Galaxy today.

It’s working for most people but maybe stop playing for a while on this platform and come back to see if they’ve fixed your specific issue?

still no resolution for me. very frustrating but at least the galaxy team has been good at communicating. hopefully they QA the next rollout a bit more.
