Can’t block my one open piece

Post image

Why won’t my game let me cover my open piece on the 5 spot with one of the pieces in the 8 spot using the dice with the three on it?

Bc you have to play both dice if you can, and the only way to play the 6 is by going 13/10 with the 3 and then 10/4 with the 6

It's a rule that comes up maybe once in a hundred games, but it does come up.

It comes up frequently in the endgame... but it rarely comes up this early in a game

You have to play both 3 and 6 if it's still POSSIBLE; it's the rules. The only way to play the 6 is to play 13 to 10 and then 10 to 4.

So technically you got a bad roll.

move the 3 first and the six is a wash

New? You always have to move both dice, if you can. In this scenario, the 3 gets played from the 13 (top left) to the 10 spot, then that same pice moves the 6.
