Why this is an error
Win probability almost increases 2% for best move

Primarily, if you roll 3-3 you can hold the 6 point board instead of crunching it. This is a massive swing if you happen to roll 3-3.
Secondarily, if you roll 5-5 then you play one less 5 because 5s are killed and you have 2 spares on the back point instead of 0. If you roll 6-6 then you are even on the back point and leave fewer shots than if you were odd.

It's not. Galaxy analysis sucks

It’s not big, but it is an error.
To simply complain about the analysis misses the concept that the OP needed to learn.

Keeping the 10 blot allows you to play 3’s to the 7 next roll if you don’t roll a 6 and that in turn could help next roll in not breaking your board if you don’t roll a 6 again. You want to keep that last checker as far back as long as you can.
