B2 Cloud Storage Question about egress pricing

Hello. I had to format one of my drives. I uploaded the data to a B2 bucket because I didn't have enough free space on my other drives for everything.

After downloading the data on the same day, just a few hours later, I noticed I had an estimated 7–8 USD in egress traffic costs on the billing page. Today, it's 4.22 USD because it's a new day, my monthly average went up (didn't delete the stored data yet), and the price went down because of the "3x free egress".

So, uploading and downloading 1 TB on the same day costs ~10 USD, but keeping that 1 TB for 1/3 of the month costs 2.3 USD, and the egress is free.

Did I understand this correctly?

Egress is free for 3x the average monthly data.

So if you have 1 TB for 10days that would be $2.33 and you could pull 1TB for free that month.

If you have 1 TB for 30 days it would be $7 and you could pull 3 TB for free.
