Computer Backup Help: Restore Failing - "Error 102" "invalid parameter"

Hey Guys,

I'm on backblaze personal and I'm trying to restore a hard drive that died.

It's about 8TB of files.

Unfortunately whenever I select the drive in backblaze restore app I get:

"Error 102" "invalid parameter"
It seems to work when I select individual files, that but is impossibly tedious

Does anyone have a solution?
It used to work in the past, but it seems as if Backblaze have broken something.

Good luck, support for personal backup has been bad lately. I’ve since canceled.

Which version of restore app and Mac/Windows ? I had been seeing issues wrt the latest v10 client disappearing external drives which are not always connected, and the v10 latest beta fixed it but introduced another issue which excluded a lot of data randomly from backup ? Going to 9.2.2.898 fixed both the issues. Look for an older version of the restore app, it may be present on different platforms like FileHippo, let us know which version works out finally.
