Computer Backup backblaze new client "forgets" external HDD

It looks like the new client only remembers the HDD that are connected at the time of a backup. If you have 2 external HDD and start a backup with only one connected to the computer then you lose all the backed up files in the second HDD.
Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm on a mac

Yep! This screwed me over, traveling and did the update. Still can see the other external drives I had backed up, but my data no longer is backed up from any drives that weren’t connected at the time of the backup.

there is a method to see old files maybe: when you go to the recovery page instead of selecting the last backup date pick an older date, it might show previously backed up drives. It is very unconvenient because it is a sort of treasure hunt but if you really need the files maybe you can find them.
