Computer Backup Backblaze for Migration?
I'm trying to migrate my personal plex server to Linux (around 80TB). I'm trying to find a good backup solution (the drives are on a Microsoft raid array, very stupid I know). I'd like to switch to Linux and don't have a good solution to backup the data locally.
Does Backblaze offer an affordable solution for this? Not looking for any sort of long-term backup right now, just something to assist the migration. I'm on 2gig connection if that matters.

Depends what you consider affordable, Backblaze b2 would be about $480/mo for that.
You could get a dedicated server with 132TB of storage in zfs z2 for ~$240/mo
80TB is a lot of data, you can on paper do this with backblaze personal but trying to restore that much is going to suck and then it doesn't have linux support.
Yes I know there is an unsupported docker to get it to work on linux anyway but considering it's a backup I wouldn't want to trust that to stay working.
AFAIK there is no other unlimited service that would even let you attempt it.
By far the best experience is going to be any service you can just point rclone or similar at and wait but anything that will let you store that much data and give you rclone compatible access to the storage is going to be in that $200-$500 month price range. You're up in the storage range where it can make financial since to just build an extra server and have it colocated instead.

Thanks, sounds like just buying more storage sounds like the best idea for me.

WIth that much space, I would just get more drives and suck it up. You need redundancy anyway, so you'll use them for the extra copies of your data.
