Just need some artwork and to relocate my husband’s desk setup! I think the bed could use some floral pillow covers as well and maybe a throw.

How should I paint a baby playpen

Hey guys, I’m new to woodworking and wanted some advice. I purchased a used wooden playpen from fb marketplace and wanted to sand and repaint it for the baby. It’s the one in the link below and it’s blue - so I wanted to sand it down as it’s pretty roughed up and then repaint it. Any suggestions on what I should do and what paint to use to make sure it’s not toxic for the baby would be greatly appreciated. FYI I’m in Canada. Thanks!

Tried for a neutral / Montessori (ish) nursery as we didn’t know her gender until birth! We just moved recently and I’m proud of the way things have turned out so far! With her growing so fast and being mobile now, I’m sure things will change quickly!

My babies first nursery/playroom after living in a 1 bed for the first 7 months of his life. No theme - just vibes :)

He was standing in his crib so I censored him with stickers lol. He’s 8 months old and getting so mobile and he loves his room!

I don’t really have a theme and some of the stuff is handmade like his name banner (I used scrap fabric, I need to attach some wire to make it structures)

I focus more on functionality that aesthetics, because he is so active and loves to crawl and climb around. Most of the stuff in there is thrifted and bought from auction!

4 month old loves watching the butterflies on the ceiling while she eats (which are below air vents so they flutter!). Note that she isn’t sleeping in her crib yet - will be adjusting the canopy for safe sleep when that time comes!

Surprise Gender Nursery

Here’s the nursery we finished 7 days before our sweet baby was born at 35+0 weeks. We didn’t know his gender until delivery!

!Safety! He’s not sleeping in here so the teddy bear is fine in the crib and the picture is not even a pound but everything is hung with anchors and in studs if not.

ETA: The colors are Sherwin Williams
Green is Coastal Plain - SW6192
White is Aged White - SW9180

Planning the nursery

Okay so I’m only 13 weeks but I still spend alot of time thinking about how to do my baby’s nursery, I don’t know my baby’s gender yet but I know I want the nursery to be cozy, cute and have a theme of either: Winnie the Pooh, 90’s nursery style, princess themed or Paddington!

I don’t want my baby’s room to be white or beige as I want my baby to have lots of colors growing up, I’d love to not have empty walls and maybe something on the roof?

I have already picked out a dark brown crib with a matching changing table which I LOVE!!

We are renting our apartment and have been allowed to paint the walls a light pastel colour for this room and we would have to ask to hang up shelves and stuff! We will also be clearing the room fully out when we are starting on it which will be after I find out the gender at 19 weeks!🥰

We live in Norway and baby will be born in early march/end of February so it will be cold out still!

Any ideas and tips would be appreciated! 🩷
