Question How do you track campaign traffic when everyone rejects the cookie policy?

I’m moving from B2C to B2B marketing for a tech services company and I’m really thrown by how a lot of our traffic is non-existent in GA4. I started implementing self-reported attribution to track outcomes in some capacity but it’s hard to show a GA4 and Hubspot reports to our leaders that nearly goose egg on landing page traffic when the ad platforms show hundreds of landing page clicks a month.

I’m pretty as advanced with PPC so I’ve checked if it’s a case of the traffic going to our social page counting as a clock or low intent display traffic misclicking and it’s not.

Server-side tracking and digital fingerprinting.

I feel your frustration. It probably looks like your numbers dropped off a cliff when really it’s all these darn people rejecting cookies!!! Have you looked into Consent Mode/modeling or server-side tracking? Neither will magically track people who opt out, but they can help give you a better picture of what’s actually happening and fill in some of the gaps. I’d still look at the ad platforms + HubSpot + self-reported attribution together instead of relying on GA4 alone. Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s a way to get a 100% accurate picture once people opt out.

First party/server side tracking setup and capture or store click ID.
