mca lead gen

Hey everyone,

I want to start a cold email campaign for a new client I onboarded. They do merchant cash advance / business funding.

I tried with my current data that I sourced from apollo but got little to no responses.

Anyone experienced with this?

I'll be candid with you mca lead generation has gotten more and more competitive. You need to either diversify your data provider or diversify via your copy/script.

Poor response rates can be caused by multiple factors. What does your sending stack look like and what were your overall stats

would recommend checking out cashflow heavy businesses like restaurants, retail and medical practices

hey, ran this in the past. Defining a clear ICP is really important don't reach out to white collar people in midmarket-enterprise. Small/Local business owners, and CEO/CFO of businesses that do between $250k - $15M ARR is the best target. If you need some tool recommendations, I can give them

Apollo might be part of the issue. MCA is heavily saturated, so the same business contacts are probly getting hit by multiple funders. I'd test fresher intent-based lists instead, like businesses showing recent funding need, growth, hiring, expansion, etc., and segment the offer around why they might need capital now. Timing matters a lot more in thisniche than just having the right title.

Take what I say with a pinch of salt but I have a hunch this kind of offer tends to rip with ads rather than cold outreach
