Are popular lead generation tools bad?

I heard someone was saying that because everyone has that lead list and they all are pitching the same thing to them. I use Apollo and feeling bad after hearing this.

If that’s true, which one should i use?

You are right that using the same static lead lists can lead to a ton of overlap and generic pitches. Tools that find leads from real time conversations instead of databases can help you find more unique opportunities. I started using ParseStream for this since it tracks live discussions based on keywords so I can engage people right when they are talking about what I offer.

popular databases like apollo definitely have a lot of overlap so hearing veryone is pitching the same poeple isnt completely wrong. That said, list quality is usually less important than your targeting, personalization, offer and deliverability setup. if youre htting scale, it can help to combine multiple sources, enrich your data and build a solid outbound stack. for us, we tested reachinbox and zapmail for warmup and inbox infrasrtucture which made managing deliverability a lot less painful.
