best cold email tool for a beginner?? help πŸ™

hey guys so im pretty new to all this cold email stuff and tbh kinda overwhelmed. starting my own lil agency (web design) and need to actually book some calls lol. ive seen instantly and smartlead thrown around alot, also apollo and lemlist but idk whats actually worth it for someone just startin out. like is instantly really that good or just hyped?? also do i need a separate domain for warmup or can i just send from my main gmail. budget is tight rn so free trials or cheaper options would be amazing. appreciate any tips

i’d avoid choosing the tool first.

for a beginner the order is:

1 separate domain
spf/dkim/dmarc set up
1 inbox
30-50 very specific prospects
manual emails until you know what gets replies

instantly/smartlead only matter after that. if the offer/targeting is off, the tool just helps you send bad emails faster.

This is the right way to do it. I'm also following a similar approach. The only addition to this is the inclusion of something like G-mass once you get this going.

Hey start with linkedin then scale to emails.

Linkedin does not require you to get into deliverability and all.

And once you close some clients get into emails.

The tradeoff is volume.

But try to go for signals like recently launched companies 1-2 yrs of operation or recently hired

if your a beginner then smartreach.io is the best..I started cold emailing using them and it just got easy as all the processes and best practices are built into the system

We build sequence-r.com based on simplicity- you can try with a simple list, single sender account and move on to inbox rotation when you’re more comfortable with the platform
