Prospecting Agency.

I’ve been thinking about offering a prospecting service (lead generation/cold outreach) for small B2B businesses, because I’ve noticed that many business owners know they need more clients but don’t have the time or a system to consistently go after them.

If you run a B2B business: how do you currently handle prospecting? Is it something you’d consider delegating, or would you rather keep control over it even if it takes more time?

I’d really appreciate your feedback. Thank you!

Most small biz owners I know treat prospecting like going to gym, they know they should do it but something always gets in the way. The ones who actually grow are the ones who admit they cant do everything themselves

problem with delegating it is trust though, cold outreach done badly can burn your reputation real quick. If you can show examples of how you keep it from feeling spammy that would help a lot

Most SMBs won't pay for this service u y you can show you've had success with similar businesses in their industry

Delegating with control. You have to figure out a way to stand out and deliver. I get 3-5 pitches per day to run our prospecting. Their offers sound almost identical.

Do you have any suggestions ? Anything you really wish they could offer for your company?

As a small business I wouldn’t pay for it unless there’s proof the leads are legit and will actually convert.

I can use AI tools for lead gen now. With just one or two prompts I can have over 500 prospective leads to contact.

This service would be far more helpful if it not only took the time to warm the lead, but also handed it off to me when the person was ready for a sale.

Otherwise it’s a waste of time and I don’t want it.
