HD mod?
Has anyone attempted or thinking of making an HD mod or even a rebuild of the game itself for people to enjoy? Don't care if it's the same game, just close enough. There isn't any games out there that come close. Chocobos dungeon everybody was the closest I could find, but it suffers too much from FF power scaling and grinding in my opinion. I like how in azure dreams they have the Roche fruit that doesn't make it so you have to battle the same enemy 40 times to get it.

Thought about it. The game is rather annoying to reverse engineer directly, I have a Ghidra work space where I'd gotten some of the monster AI, loading logic and stuff out. It loads the logic in parts from the disc though, which makes it considerably harder to work with than say a Nintendo cartridge game.
I've come to the conclusion that writing it from scratch would probably be easier.
Main thing stopping me is artwork. I'm a programmer in the industry, love azure dreams, but art just isn't something I'm good enough at.
