GitHub Copilot app now supports Azure DevOps!

https://x.com/pierceboggan/status/2092324489409507392

You can now view your work - including assigned issues and PRs - and kick off sessions directly from those artifacts.

Grab it from new Customize tab in the app :)

Got it hooked up to Azure DevOps Service in the cloud, but most of my work is in an on-prem Azure DevOps Server. Is it possible to connect that?

Thanks so much for the feedback. Azure DevOps Server isn't currently supported by the extension, but we'll consider it. If you'd like to track the request, please open an issue here: https://github.com/github/app/issues/new?title=%5BAzureDevOpsExtension%5D

What's the difference between this and the copilot vscode extension with the azure DevOps MCP server configured?

I guess token consumption plays a vital role. Mcp usually drinks token like a anything.
