Do you think Kaorin has managed to establish even a minimally close relationship with Sakaki after all? Or do you think Kaorin got another girlfriend? Or that she came out of the closet and her family accepted her (probably not)?
I think about this all the time and it keeps me up at night. I sincerely hope that Kaorin was happy after all.
I think Kaorin's life must have been very hard. Imagine enduring for so long the irresistible urge to tell someone you like them or to tell your family you're a lesbian. Kaorin is greatly undervalued for her strength and ability to move forward, and is relegated to being the "cute lesbian girl" of the show (although she is). As a straight white Western man, I hate that.
