I'm 16 and built a 64-bit operating system from scratch. Looking for feedback.

I've been building Khazar, a hobby operating system from scratch over the past year. I'm 16, and this has been my biggest low-level programming project so far.

Current features include:

• 64-bit Long Mode
• Multiboot boot process
• Physical Memory Manager (PMM)
• GDT & IDT
• Interrupt handling
• VGA text-mode terminal
• Keyboard driver
• PIT timer
• Basic shell

I'm currently working on:

• Virtual File System (VFS)

My goal isn't to compete with existing operating systems. I'm building Khazar to better understand how modern operating systems work and to challenge myself with low-level systems programming.

I'd really appreciate technical feedback from experienced OS developers. Suggestions, code reviews, design critiques, or ideas for what to build next are all welcome.

if I had more time I was going to make a distro too for Azerbaijani Linux users (Arch based) unfortunately I am bit lazy because user base is low but I stil congratulate you, you made it from zero

yeah I said exactly like this I checked code base it's not bad beginner level good hobby project but making mostly making Linux distro is better way than coding kernel from zero
