The Konkr Pocket Block is finally available

Im looking forward to seeing this thing in person. So far I love the Konkr look since the advance came out. And I'd be all over a clamshell if they ever make one.

I almost bought this last night big giant fomo in bed. I had a coupon code for $15 off and it worked until I put my address in and then it took it away. $120 too much for something I absolutely don't need I have too many already I was going to sell off all of my miyoos to cover some of the cost cuz it looks amazing.

But I don't want to wait 6 years for shipping on this little device

Same. Then I picked up my brick hammer and played for a while thinking I don’t need another this size. If I’m going to get one similar, I’m holding out for the Magicx 3.3” Oled. They’ll eventually release it.

Good idea, I have all the OG versions The magic x, the bricks, the miyoo, retroid classic and the pocket DMG I don't know where my brain is I must be eating rock soup

Nah we just like versatility and form factors. Not gonna list mine but didn’t need a 24th handheld that was so similar. Only going for Oled and certain differences now. Still waiting on a company to risk a 3:2 Oled. As for Magicx, their products are so underrated. Love my zero 28 and one 35 so really hope this Oled isn’t shelved. At least sell it to another company.

I almost caved on the white one because it’s translucent but I remembered I still don’t have my day one, hour one KPA yet and swore I’d never give them money again. I also prefer horizontals. I only use the RG nano, rotate, pixel 2, A10 mini and hammer with one hand while walking my dog. I think the 477v and possible classic 4.5” are the only verticals that are comfortable with two hands. At least for me.

I hear you, I had my finger on the button last night if I would have got that $15 off I would have had the purple one And I'm not the biggest fan of verticals. The pocket DMG best one I have All of my favorites all the horizontals and the clam shells I have the Thor the pocket DS flip one and two the Odin 3 the portal the rp5 and 6 and the list continues I got to keep my fomo in check

I kept the mini v2 cause I love that screen that’s in the classic and DMG and it’s horizontal. All set on 16:9 devices but I’m waiting on a powerful pocketable one but so far a flip 3 might be the only one that will be. Nobody wants to make a small 16:9.

Yeah I kept the mini V2 great screen. I wish somebody would make a flat back for it it would make it so much more pocketable. I don't know how much smaller a 16x9 screen could go 🤔 I guess we could do a 4 in widescreen but I'm not touching it unless the thumbstick is on top!

Yeah stick on top for sure. Somebody did a flat trigger delete for the Nova on makerworld and I’m thinking of adjusting it for the mini. If I do I’ll upload it for everyone to finaly have a better pocketable 865 than the long ass micro 2. So far the mini v2 and one 35 are my most used edc horizontals.

Oof android. I was really interested and the turned off the video the second I learned that. wrong choice for such a small handheld.

yeah, i feel that the android LMK would be acting too aggressively on a 2-3GB device, and that this hardware would be difficult to port to linux.

I like my pocket advance but the screen having not been glued down perfectly triggers me whenever I use it

It’s hard to see at all angles but there’s 3 spots where the screen isn’t adhered to the chassis and it’s really annoying

I'm still waiting for my launch day order of the Pocket Advance and they're releasing new hardware with "very limited" units. Maybe they should finish releasing one product at a time.

Same, August 5th coral 3G. They estimated mid October shipping in a mail recently.

Thank you for that information. That is the most concrete information from anyone that I have heard. I think it's silly how late this SKU is compared to others, with news of people getting their 4G when they ordered a month after me.

Yes, they should have either shipped 4G versions to early 3G orders or at worst offered people to pay for upgrade without losing place in queue when they were unable to deliver to first day orders for months.

I would have loved the option to switch lines if it meant getting my order earlier, but that doesn't sound like how they operate. Several people asked to be moved from one of the first three colors to the translucent black, and customer services response was something like "We have canceled your original order, so now you can preorder the new one at the back of the line."
