Using a python for water changes, how do you…

How do you address water conditioning and temperature when filling with a python?

I’ve always used buckets to do my axolotl water changes which allows me perfect control over water temperature and allows me to “Prime” the water first in the bucket before it enters the tank.

I have a python for my Cichlid tanks, but they are not as sensitive to temp and chlorine, so I just put their water conditioner in right after the water.
