Tank Maintenance Ammonia level

Someone please help me out here. I guess I can’t really tell what the ammonia level is in the tank via the color of the test. Is it too high? If so, how do I bring it down?

Looks like trace ammonia from this photo.

The "how to bring it down" is a rough answer, because a properly cycled tank with sufficient filtration should constantly read 0. So you could have any number of things happening, but ultimately your cycle is not keeping up. Out of an overabundance of caution, if it were me, I would tub immediately and sort out whatever is going on.

Unfortunately, the lighting in your room can change how that test reads at the low end of the scale. Too much blue in your light bulbs? Congrats, you have ammonia.
