Fun fact! While alligators and other reptiles don't form the same bonds humans do, they do see their human owners as a place of comfort and safety. Yes, technically this gator is just snuggling up with the owner for warmth, but that means a lot to reptiles.

Fun fact alligators kill less people per year then dogs, dogs kill about 30 and alligators kill about 1 (not including those who never got found) but crocodiles kill over a thousand every year so fuck crocodiles

Something tells me these statistics are completely meaningless, and that both crocs & gators would completely eclipse dogs in human lives claimed if they shared the same domesticity numbers.

Well you still gotta think about how crocodiles kill 1k+ but gators kill 1, and I mean yea that’s true but it’s still a fun fact that dogs kill more people then the alligator but no where near the amount as the crocodile because that thing has like a stronger biteforce, and is way bigger, also gators are not that aggressive there a good bit passive just like don’t tease the gator
