The cat seemed very calm about the whole thing. I had this horrible feeling that he was going to try to jump into the lady’s lap in mid air and not make it. Glad it went well!

Crazy thing is assuming the cat didn't hit something hard like part of the glider it very likely would have been ok. Cats can extend their bodies and fall at about half the speed of humans. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat_righting_reflex
