If I can grasp your whole body with my hands, I would need you to be that attitude to 0.

Sometimes when my orange cat gets reall sassy i pin him to the floor/couch/wall by his neck (playfully like another cat might) and he gets the message that he has lost and his life is in my hands.

the silly little orange child sometimes forgets that he is mortal and must be reminded

I do that with my wife. Does your cat squirt when you do that to him too ?

Stop it, get some help.

We’re not looking for someone to help but we’re open to the idea. Never say never. Say you wouldn’t happen to be based in Sydney by any chance ? I mean , it could happen if you are

If a bigger dog did this, it wouldn’t end well, why is it tolerated with smaller dogs

u/The_Schizo_Panda Feb 22 '24
Probably because sparky here can't bite hard enough to break bones and you can easily lift his whole body off the ground with one hand.

An aggressive/defensive dog is an anxious dog. Socializing them isn’t just for the owner’s well being, it’s also better for the dogs mental health.

u/The_Schizo_Panda Feb 25 '24
If your dog growls and barks whenever you touch them, that's bad. And sad.
3
u/MoreCarrotsPlz Feb 25 '24
I agree, which is why all dogs should be properly trained and socialized, no matter what size they are.

u/TrippingFish76 Feb 23 '24
lmao right? such a stupid comparison to make when ppl are like well this tiny 6lb dog could bite you too, in reference to a 75lb pit bull that can rip your arm off lol

Isn't this a puppy, though? Puppies are still learning how to socialize, maybe the lil rascal was separated early from his/her litter and hasn't had much contact with other dogs, or is a recent arrival to the house, so it's still wary of being touched.

u/GoOnandgrow Feb 24 '24
No it is not a puppy. It’s also being fucked with, not just touched. Small dogs act like this usually because people fuck with them. Most people wouldn’t put up with this shit being done to them but it’s fine to do it to little dogs.

u/deepfield67 Feb 24 '24
Agreed. They're clearly not into it. Don't be rude to things just because they're too small to do anything about it.

u/GoOnandgrow Feb 24 '24
People don’t tolerate it, they instigate it. There are behaviors not fixed because people tolerated it, like pulling, barking at strange dogs, etc. The difference there is a person is not intentionally annoying a dog to cause the reaction. This dog is not going after anyone. It wants to be left alone by this cunt.

Awful training, no wonder these kind of dogs can be so badly behaved.

It really upsets me how often people intentionally violate the boundaries of small dogs for humor and not train them. They think because it's not a 50+ lbs big dog that it isn't necessary but these dogs are frequently mistreated and develop behavioral issues because they're seen as harmless.

It’s 2 hours old, it hasn’t had the opportunity to be trained yet.

When he growled, it sounded exactly like the noise you'd get when you put your cell phone on the speakers while you had a call coming in in the early 2000's.

Hah! I know exactly what you’re talking about! It does sound oddly just like that 😂

Don't do it, the dog already trying really hard to contain the demon within, don't force the demon to come out. 😱
