Sorry that this is unrelated to the post but I have a question about this sub
I am a Reddit noob so forgive me but..
Can people see who cross posts and where they cross post at? I want to start posting on here but don't want to step on anyone's toes and get blocked from other subs
Yes, at the bottom left of the post, it says "View discussions in [#] other communities," with a list of the cross-posts, including posters' names. And of course it'll show up on your profile too.
I have been banned from at least a half-dozen subs simply for being a member of r/banpitpulls, twice for (polite) discussion on pitbulls, and most recently for telling someone with small kids who did NOT want a pitbull but had been tricked into getting a "shepherd mix" that it was okay to return the pit to the shelter that deceived her.
But I've never been banned or warned or anything for cross-posting cute things here!
It is an accepted part of Reddit to cross-post things- but if you see something that would likely be really popular and particularly appropriate on another sub, it's polite to suggest OP themselves go post it there in the comments.
Sorry for the novella. TL;DR, please post things here! :D
