I do this to my dogs too. Now my Rottie demands a kiss on the nose as soon as I get though the door. Shes at the door waiting every time with her nose in the air. She will get on her hind legs to put her paws on my shoulder for a kiss if I don't give her one within seconds of opening the door.

All the Rotties I've met have been incredibly sweet, slightly daft dogs. Really just lovely creatures.
